Buddhism is a religion that was created in present day Nepal. It contains many traditions and practices that were all created by Buddha himself, or otherwise known as Siddhartha Gautama, a prince who was technically imprisoned by his father in order to prevent him from becoming a holy man and doing things such as creating practices and traditions. There are many Buddhist concepts such as samsara and karma. Samsara is the cycle of birth and death. Samsara means to flow on or to perpetually wander. It is believed that samsara is closely associated to the belief that one can be reborn into other realms of life as another human or animal. Rebirth completely depends on karma. Karma is the weighing of your actions and deeds you have committed in life. Good karma results in being rebirth, and bad karma is the end of your life cycle. Other concepts such as the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path are things Siddhartha Gautama created as a guide for the followers of Buddhism to use in life.
