The way Buddhism was started was how Siddhartha Gautama wanted to help the people he saw in suffering. Buddhism was spread after he began his teachings to the many people in Nepal. He formed a community of monks called the Sangha which expanded the amount of Buddhist followers. Then, monasteries became the central part of Buddhism where young boys stayed at to learn of the monastery experience.
